Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, this photography explores the outdoors through dramatic coastal landscapes, open skies, and quiet moments shaped by light and weather. The work is grounded in place—early mornings, changing conditions, and time spent returning to familiar locations. With a focus on simplicity and atmosphere, each image aims to capture the character of the landscape as it naturally unfolds.

On a dog walk in Tunks Park I came across this kookaburra that was accused of stealing a mans muffin. Safe to say he was less than intimidated by humans.
I stayed up quite late for this one, the same tree that was the focus of the sunset image was perfectly framed from our camp when it was late at night.
On a recent trip to port Stephens there was an excellent sunset and I was able to capture the moon appearing above the trees.
My photography story
My photography focuses on landscapes, the night sky, and the ocean—places shaped by light, weather, and activity. I’m drawn to quiet moments, where mood and scale do most of the work. Rather than staging scenes, I aim to respond to what’s already there: changing skies, shifting water, and the subtle details that often go unnoticed. This body of work reflects time spent outdoors, in the beautiful northern beaches and beyond.
